Today our schedule was packed! We began the day at the National Museum of China which was extremely beautiful and a lot larger than I imagined. It was great to have time to explore the aspects of China’s history that interested us the most. I spent an extensive amount of time looking at a lot of the art that was in the museum, specifically the pottery!
After the National Museum and lunch, we went to experience the Peking Opera. It was so much more interactive and fun than I would have ever imagined. I had such a wonderful time learning about the Opera and learning some of the dance movements. In addition, we all got to have our faces painted like the characters from the Opera!
