Today we had the opportunity to visit Peking University, see a lecture on a professors research, and tour the campus. The campus is very impressive. For one they have their own lake and a rather large garden to accompany the lake. Their library is the largest University library in Asia.
The lecture was on nationalism in China and was very interesting. The professor was very well spoken and really made us think about the topic. He led us on to believe that nationalism in China has been on the rise and then very swiftly proved that we were wrong and that the Chinese people have always been this way. All in all a very successful day.
