Today is one of the last days the American and Chinese students got to spend together before we leave for China. We spent the morning bus ride talking about the Qixi Festival and American Valentine’s Day. I shared the love story from the Titanic as an example of American culture. Someone shared the story of Zhinu and Niulang. We stopped at the UN building as a symbol of the connecting the bridge between China and US. Then we spent time looking at Chinese and American art in the galleries of the Met.
