Today was a day of shopping and bartering. We visited the Hutong, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Beijing with some of the houses being older than 400 years old. I did not buy anything, as for one: I did not need anything, and two: I did not want to deal with the people trying to sell me wallets or luggage at the mall. The mall was ridiculous as people were putting themselves in my face to sell something to me. It was quite the excursion. After a few hours, people started to gather together at the McDonalds next to the mall where we ate and some of us did karaoke. Afterwards, we went to The Red theatre to watch a kung fu show where showed the story “The Legend of Kung Fu: Return of the Dragon.” This a very acrobatic show, featuring ballet forms and martial arts a like.
