Today we had the opportunity to visit the Great Wall of China, a dream that I have had since I was in the 6th grade. We took a long bus ride to the starting point, and then climbed hundreds of stairs to the top! The view was more beautiful than I could have imagined and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to visit the wall. By the end of the journey, we were sweaty and tired, but we took some great photos to capture the experience.
After the wall, we had lunch at Subway and then were off to visit the Olympic Village! It was cool to see the grounds of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
