When I was last in Beijing one of my favorite places was the Temple of Heaven. It’s great to see some of the local people out and about just living their lives. Whether they are playing Chinese chess, playing chess, or just spending time with their family.
The temple structure itself is also magnificent to behold. The intricacy of the structures, the planning and forethought, and the simple beauty are all awe inspiring. On top of all of that, it was a beautiful day in Beijing and a great day to do some sightseeing.
