On a this previous Tuesday, we had our second day of Mandarin Class. Overall, the course was very intensive, but studying paid off. After that second day of class, my mind was already starting to lose focus for learning and retaining information. But I believe I had managed to do well. In that afternoon, we went to a rehabilitation center for the mentally impaired and made soap! They were a lively bunch and they enjoyed our company. At the end of our soap making process, we were able to take two of our favorite soaps with us. I had a starfish and a crab. It was a good time.
