Today, we were invited to another university to hear a lecture about Chinese Nationalism. It was interesting to hear the points made by the professor about why Chinese Nationalism has never truly been on the rise and why the opinions that may be negative towards Western society are most likely published for profit and may not be actually believed. After that lecture we went to lunch at the university and had the most Western dish of the trip so far: spaghetti. It was great! I have been enjoying the Chinese food as well, but it was a nice change of taste for a meal. The rest of the time at the university we walked around to enjoy the natural gardens and ponds on the campus. It is a beautiful campus. The only down side to the day was the heat. I wore pants which made for an exceptionally hotter day than normal.
