Chris and I made the very dumb mistake of taking the train the wrong way, making us late to the Consulate, making us completely miss the meeting. We did however pick up his passport, we plan to get mine tomorrow and get to spend some more time with our Chinese counterparts. As per usual we bonded over the bus ride. Now that we’ve moved into Pace, most of our meals are in the dining hall here, which makes mealtime run much smoother. The mac n’ cheese tasted just like it did last year tonight at dinner, but it was much harder to find hot sauce than before. The Chinese students spent the morning phone banking for Dodge, which we couldn’t help with as we don’t speak mandarin and then went to the Consulate for a very interesting sounding presentation in the afternoon. Chris and I were both very sad to miss it. The highlight of my day was dancing to loud music with some of my Chinese friends tonight after dinner. I TRIED TO ATTACH THE VIDEO BUT AM NOT ABLE TO BECAUSE WE ARE USING FREE WORDPRESS AND A PLAN THAT SUPPORTS VIDEOS REQUIRES MONEY. I will do my best to figure out a way to upload this very funny dancing video set to “Uptown Funk.”
