Bank of China Conference

Today is sadly our last day with the Chinese exchange students. In the morning Ellie and I went to pick up her visa, so we are officially leaving for Beijing tonight. After we got her visa, we met up with all the students for a talk at Bank of China.

We made it there about 5 mins earlier than the Chinese tour group. We were ushered into the lobby of the bank and then downstairs to a conference room. There, representatives from the Bank of China gave a speech, in Chinese, to the students so we relied on Kaise to translate the important points. At the end, they opened up to a Q&A, which Ellie and I participated in, asking about their plans on recruiting American customers and their role during the 2008 Economic Crisis in USA.

After we left the bank, we headed to the High Line for a teen dance party. The Chinese students had so much fun and loved screen printing their own shirts.

We left the High Line to go back to the Pace dorms before getting on our flight for Guangzho.
