Today was so much fun!! We met with the exchange students and did a scavenger hunt at Central park. It was hot and muggy, but my group enjoyed the brief wind at Sheep’s Meadow, and ran back to the bus when it started to pour! On the bus ride back, I gave exchange students Ryan and Bryan English names, and they gave me a Chinese name– Xiao Yi. They also taught me to write some important characters. I have so much to learn from everyone.
For lunch and dinner we went to Chinese buffet houses, and I ate broccoli beef for what will probably be the last time in a while. I can’t wait for all the new food in Beijing, but I will miss my General Tso’s.
