Central Park Adventures

On Saturday we set out to Central Park armed with only a 13900442_1165971493453668_2051326757_nmap of the park and a cryptic set of clues. As an NYU student and a very competitive person in general, I took this challenge quite seriously. Fortunately I was partnered with Jules, who was equally ambitious, and our Chinese friends were also up for power walking through the park in pursuit of pictures. We posed with street vendors, visited Strawberry Fields and the iconic Imagine memorial, saw the Alice in Wonderland statues, watched turtles swimming in the Turtle Pond by Bellevue Castle, and relaxed in the grass for a moment when we were tired. In the end, our efforts were rewarded and my team won the scavenger hunt with a total of 11 clues solved! It was a great way to share a lot of the must-see sights in Central Park, one of my very favorite places in New York City, with our Chinese friends.
