On July 15th the students woke up very early, 5AM to be exact. Their American teachers greeted them with Dunkin Donuts. It was an exciting morning because the class was taking a trip to the Today Show to attend the concert of singer Gwen Stefani. There the students were able to be on national television.
Following the concert the students returned to the dormitory for a small rest period. After having lunch they attended classes at New York University. Some of the study topics were baseball, cooking, social media, and cheerleading. During a break between class periods teacher Chloe shared a special snack she baked – brownies. (YUM!)
To conclude the week of class in celebration the teachers held a mini graduation for the students. After receiving their certificates the students had a pizza party.
The night ended with last minute shopping and gift buying. The students and teachers said good-bye.
