The Key is to Walk Away

I went crazy at the shopping center today. Seriously, I bartered like there was no tomorrow, I even bought tea….I don’t even drink tea, but I bought it simply for the satisfaction of getting a lower price than what they asked for, so technically who really won here? The key was to walk away lol, they always yelled after you and lowered the price. Anyway, I really enjoyed the market we visited, they had everything from purses and shoes to computers and jewelry. For lunch we went to a Chinese food court and had the opportunity to choose our own dish for a change, it was really nice. For dinner, I’ve never been more thrilled to eat McDonald’s chicken nuggets before, I really miss American food.

I had a really amazing time at the Kung Fu show we attended, I feel like we had an exciting insight into yet another tradition of China. I love how it was simple for me to understand the message behind the hour and a half show, I may have even shed a tear or two. I’m really excited to see what memories we make tomorrow when we visit the Great Wall! We have such an extraordinary team that its hard to not crack up all the time and make the best memories.IMG_8383.PNG
