Today we had the opportunity to experience the Summer Palace and all of its beauty. In the beginning, we were unsure about what to expect, but as time progressed we all found the sights to be gorgeous. I loved the courtyards and the views of the water. We cooled off and had lunch by the river which I enjoyed. We tried a popular Chinese fast food called Yoshinoya, I loved it. By the end of the day we were sweaty and tired, but the experience was priceless! The amount of detail and effort that went into the creation of the many structures at the Summer Palace left me in awe. I just wish they had created a palace with fewer stairs!
